nSTRIDE APS® uses your own body to treat pain and slow the wear and tear of your knee’s cartilage cushioning.^{3^,7}

Scientific studies show the “good” proteins created by the nSTRIDE APS® process block and slow cartilage degradation, treating the underlying cause of OA knee pain, unlike traditional therapies.^{3^} 

In an osteoarthritic knee, “bad” proteins (inflammatory cytokines) outnumber “good” proteins (anti-inflammatory cytokines), causing an imbalance. This imbalance results in knee pain and wears the joint’s cushioning cartilage.²⁰ 

In an OA knee, the “bad” proteins (IL-1 and TNFa) attack the cartilage²⁰ and must be stopped to decrease the pain and slow the wear and tear.

The nSTRIDE APS® treatment introduces a high number of “good” proteins (IL-1ra, sIL-1R, sTNF-RI, and sTNF-RII) to the knee joint designed to overwhelm and block the “bad proteins”.^{23^} As a result, studies have shown that nSTRIDE APS® decreases pain and slows cartilage degeneration, unlike traditional therapies.^{3,6^,11}As the protein balance is restored to the knee, building (anabolic) factors (IGF-1 and TGF-.1) are also introduced to benefit the health of the cartilage.²⁴ Therefore, nSTRIDE APS® is a therapy that may reduce knee joint pain, improve function, and slow cartilage destruction.^{3^}
